In January we started a Geology study. There have been some really cool hands on studies of how rocks are formed! The most exciting ones have included making pizzas to describe the layers of the Earth and using different types of cheeses to show different types of rocks. The kids have really enjoyed discovering rocks in new ways, and they've definitely enjoyed eating all of their creations!

A Belated Valentine's Party

We had a Valentine's Day Party at Beth's house! It was supposed to be on Valentine's Day, but we had an unexpected snow storm blow in, so we had to cancel it. We couldn't stand not doing it though, so we rescheduled it for the next week! It doesn't really matter when you have these parties right? Loving how much fun we are having with our group!

A New Year, A New Co-op!

It's that time again! Since we don't get to take the obligatory "back to school" pictures, I usually make my kids pose for our first day of co-op! We started a new co-op this year with a few friends called Great Endeavor Homeschoolers. It's nice to know we are finally getting our legs under us since we moved here from Florida! We are excited to start learning music, art, and the human body, and to see where this new adventure takes us!
